SoFi stock has dropped more than 50% from its November 2025 peak, and it now trades near $14.60. So the question on every investor’s mind is simple: where does SOFI go from here? This SoFi stock price prediction 2030 answers it with the math on the table, which means you can check every step yourself.
I built three scenarios. The bear case lands near $12, the base case near $26, and the bull case near $51. Reaching $50 is possible, but $100 asks far more than most forecasts admit. Below, I show why.
One timing note: SoFi reports third-quarter results on October 27, so every number here runs through October 26, 2026.
Quick Answer: SoFi Stock Price Prediction 2030
My base case puts SOFI at about $26 by the end of 2030, roughly 76% above today’s price. The full range runs from $12 to $51.
| Scenario | 2030 EPS | P/E multiple | 2030 price | vs. today | $1,000 becomes |
| Bear | $1.00 | 12x | $12.00 | -18% | $822 |
| Base | $1.71 | 15x | $25.65 | +76% | $1,757 |
| Bull | $1.71 | 30x | $51.30 | +251% | $3,514 |
Today’s price: $14.60 (October 26, 2026). These are scenarios built on stated assumptions, not guarantees.
Want to test your own view? Use this formula: 2030 price = 2030 EPS x P/E multiple. Swap in any two numbers you like, then compare the result with today’s price.
Where SoFi Stock Stands Today

SOFI trades near $14.60, and its 52-week range runs from $13.86 to $32.73. As a result, the stock sits close to the bottom of that range. Its market cap is about $19 billion.
The business, however, keeps growing. In the second quarter, revenue rose 40% to $1.2 billion, and SoFi hit a record 15.8 million members, up 35% from a year earlier. Deposits also grew by nearly $5.3 billion during the quarter, and interchange revenue jumped 55%, according to SoFi’s 10-Q filing.
Some parts of the story look weaker. SoFi’s Technology Platform lost a large client, so its second-quarter revenue fell 23% and its enabled accounts dropped to 135 million from 160 million. Credit worries investors too. The American Bankers Association’s Credit Conditions Index has stayed below 50 for seven straight quarters, according to The Motley Fool.
Guidance added to the mood. In July, SoFi raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $4.75 to $4.85 billion but left its earnings guidance near $0.60 per share, which rattled investors. Today the stock trades near 30 times its trailing earnings of $0.49 per share. For the third quarter, analysts expect about $0.17 per share on $1.25 billion in revenue.
How I Built This Forecast
A stock’s price equals its earnings per share (EPS) times the multiple investors pay for each dollar of those earnings. So a forecast needs two inputs: future EPS and a future P/E ratio.
For EPS, I use Morningstar’s analyst estimates, as The Motley Fool reported them on October 21: $0.62 in 2026, $0.82 in 2027, $1.35 in 2029, and $1.71 in 2030. Analysts miss often, so I treat $1.71 as a target SoFi has to earn, not a fact.
That target is big. SoFi has about 1.28 billion shares today (equity of $10.8 billion divided by $8.44 of book value per share), so $1.71 per share means roughly $2.2 billion in profit. With dilution, the figure climbs closer to $2.4 billion. SoFi earned about $481 million in 2025, so profit must grow close to fivefold.
For the multiple, I test three levels: 12x, 15x, and 30x. Then I compare my results with other public models. 24/7 Wall St’s May analysis put its base case at $25.19, which sits right next to my base case. A Motley Fool writer reached about $43 by assuming 30% yearly EPS growth and a 30x multiple. My bull case lands higher than that one, and my base case lands lower.
The Three Scenarios Behind the 2030 Price
Bear case: about $12. In my bear case, EPS reaches $1.00 by 2030, which means roughly 13% growth per year from $0.62 in 2026. That slower path happens if credit losses rise on unsecured personal loans, loan buyers pull back, and the Technology Platform keeps shrinking. I also assume a 12x multiple, the price investors tend to pay for a slower, bank-like lender. Both inputs are my own assumptions. The result sits about 18% below today’s price.
Base case: about $26. Here SoFi hits Morningstar’s $1.71 EPS, which requires about 29% yearly EPS growth. I apply a 15x multiple, a modest figure for a company still growing that fast. The result is $25.65, or roughly 76% above today’s price. That works out to about 14% a year for the next four years or so.
Bull case: about $51. The bull case uses the same $1.71 EPS. The difference is the multiple. Today SoFi trades near 30 times trailing earnings, so the bull case simply assumes investors keep paying that. This scenario needs no earnings heroics. Still, it asks a lot, because investors will only pay 30x in 2030 if they expect fast growth to continue after 2030.
Could SoFi Stock Reach $50?
Yes, but two things have to go right at once. SoFi has to hit analyst earnings estimates, and the market has to keep paying about 30 times earnings.
Here is the math. A move from $14.60 to $50 means a gain of about 242%, or roughly 34% a year for four years. At a 30x multiple, SoFi needs about $1.67 of EPS, which sits just below Morningstar’s $1.71. At 15x, SoFi needs about $3.33, nearly double the estimate. So the $50 target depends more on the multiple than on earnings.
Can SoFi Stock Reach $100?
By 2030, it looks very unlikely. Reaching $100 means a gain of about 585%, or roughly 58% a year for four years.
Earnings estimates would have to roughly double as well. At a 30x multiple, SoFi needs about $3.33 of EPS. At 15x, it needs $6.67. Meanwhile, $100 per share at today’s share count equals a market cap near $128 billion, about seven times today’s $19 billion. Dilution would push that figure even higher.
$100 looks more realistic over a longer window, which brings me to the next section.
SoFi Stock Forecast Year by Year (2026 to 2030)
| Year | EPS estimate | Today’s price as a multiple of that EPS | Price at 15x |
| 2026 | $0.62 | 23.5x | $9.30 |
| 2027 | $0.82 | 17.8x | $12.30 |
| 2028 | about $1.05* | 13.9x | $15.75 |
| 2029 | $1.35 | 10.8x | $20.25 |
| 2030 | $1.71 | 8.5x | $25.65 |
*The Morningstar figure for 2028 did not appear in the sources I checked, so I interpolated between 2027 and 2029.
Look at the third column. Today’s $14.60 price equals just 8.5 times Morningstar’s 2030 EPS. In other words, the market prices SoFi as if those earnings might never arrive. That gap is the whole bull argument. The bear argument is that the gap exists for a reason. Meanwhile, the last column works as a yardstick, not a forecast: it shows where the stock would trade if investors paid 15x that year’s EPS.
SoFi Stock in 10 Years: 2035, 2040 and Beyond
Searchers ask about 2035, 2040 and even 2050. Honestly, nobody can price a lender that far out. Instead of guessing a number, I show what return each outcome requires. The table starts from $14.60 and runs ten years, to late 2036.
| Yearly return | Price after 10 years |
| 8% | $31.52 |
| 12% | $45.35 |
| 15% | $59.07 |
| 20% | $90.40 |
To reach $100 by 2036, SOFI needs about 21% a year for a decade. That is a high bar to clear for ten straight years, even for a fast grower.
Be careful with sites that print exact prices for 2040 and 2050. CoinCodex, for example, shows about $72 for late 2040 and $121 for 2050. Those numbers come from extrapolating a trend line, not from SoFi’s loan book.
Why Algorithm Forecasts Disagree (CoinCodex, WalletInvestor and Others)
Forecast sites such as CoinCodex, Longforecast and WalletInvestor mostly work from price history and statistical models. They don’t read loan books, charge-offs or deposit costs. As a result, they often disagree with each other.
On the day I checked, CoinCodex projected $48.25 for the end of 2030, while Longforecast showed $31.21 for November 2030 and $23.60 for September. CoinCodex also rates 24 of 26 technical indicators as bearish, yet its model forecasts a 230% gain. Those two signals don’t match.
Use these tools for a rough read on momentum, not as a price target. A fundamentals-based model at least shows its assumptions, so you can argue with them. If you want to read those technical signals yourself, start with our guide on how to read stock charts.
Bull Case vs. Bear Case for SoFi
What the bulls point to
- Member growth near 35% a year, with 15.8 million members today
- A bank charter that lets SoFi fund loans with cheaper deposits: in the first quarter, the average deposit rate ran 155 basis points below warehouse funding, which saved about $622 million a year
- Fee and interchange revenue that grows faster than lending
- New crypto and tokenized-deposit products that widen the product list
- A price near 1.7 times first-quarter book value of $8.44 per share
What the bears point to
- Unsecured personal loans that could sour in a recession
- A Technology Platform that keeps shrinking
- Loan-sale revenue that depends on outside buyers: platform fees reached $140.9 million in the second quarter on $3.1 billion of loans originated for third parties
- Share count growth from stock compensation
- A multiple near 30x trailing earnings, which leaves little room for mistakes
- Big swings: SOFI carries a five-year beta of 2.33, so it moves much harder than the broader market
What Investors Argue About (Reddit, Analysts and Everyone in Between)
Search “SoFi stock price prediction 2030 Reddit” and you will find big numbers and strong opinions. Strip away the price targets, and the debate boils down to three questions:
- Can SoFi keep growing earnings near 30% a year?
- Will its loans stay clean if unemployment rises?
- What multiple should a digital bank with a tech business earn?
Your answers to those three questions set your own price target. Mine sit in the scenarios above. Which answer would you change? Tell me in the comments.
Key Risks That Could Break the Forecast
- Credit quality. Unsecured personal loans react fast to job losses, so a recession would hit SoFi’s earnings first.
- Funding costs. If rivals force SoFi to pay more for deposits, the bank charter advantage shrinks.
- Loan-sale demand. When outside buyers step back, fee revenue drops quickly.
- Regulation. SoFi answers to bank regulators, and its crypto products add rules that can change.
- Dilution. Stock compensation raises the share count, which trims EPS even when profit grows.
- Technology Platform. Another client exit would extend the decline.
Is SoFi a Strong Buy Now?

I won’t call SoFi a buy or a sell, because your goals, timeline and risk tolerance decide that, not me. Still, the data gives you a frame.
Wall Street leans cautious. MarketBeat’s August tally showed nine Buy, eleven Hold and three Sell ratings, with an average price target of $22.52. That target sits about 54% above today’s price, but several analysts cut their targets after the first-quarter report.
SOFI suits investors who can hold for five years or more and can stomach big swings. The stock already fell more than 50% from its peak. It suits you less if you need the money within two years. Also, earnings arrive on October 27, and a stock with a beta of 2.33 can move hard on one report. If you do buy, size the position so a 50% drop wouldn’t change your life.
Conclusion
My SoFi stock price prediction 2030 comes down to three numbers: $12, $26 and $51, with $26 as the base case. The base case needs no miracle. It needs SoFi to hit analyst estimates and investors to pay a fair multiple. However, $50 requires the market to stay generous, and $100 needs earnings far above anyone’s estimate.

FAQ
Where could SoFi stock be in 5 years?
My base case puts SOFI near $26 by the end of 2030, with a bear case near $12 and a bull case near $51. The base case assumes SoFi earns $1.71 per share and investors pay 15 times that. Those inputs can change fast, so I revisit them after every earnings report.
Could SoFi stock reach $50?
Yes, but it needs about 34% yearly gains for four years. It works if SoFi earns near $1.67 per share and investors still pay 30 times earnings in 2030. If the multiple falls to 15x, SoFi would need roughly $3.33 per share instead.
Can SoFi stock reach $100?
Not by 2030, in my view. That would take a gain of about 585%, or EPS near $3.33 at a 30x multiple. Over ten years, $100 needs about 21% a year, which is possible but demanding.
How much will SoFi be worth in 10 years?
It depends on your return assumption. From $14.60, an 8% yearly return gives about $32, 12% gives about $45, and 20% gives about $90. Nobody can forecast a lender’s price that far out with precision.
Is SoFi a strong buy now?
Wall Street’s consensus rating is Hold, not Strong Buy. MarketBeat counted nine Buy, eleven Hold and three Sell ratings in August. The stock fits long-term investors who can handle big swings, but I don’t give personal buy or sell advice.
How high can SoFi stock go in 2026?
Several analysts set targets near $21 to $22 over the summer, which would mean a gain of about 44% to 51% from $14.60. The October 27 earnings report can swing the stock, but a rally that large in about ten weeks would surprise me.
