Meet Jon Najarian – the man behind Weekly Options Profits Program.

Jon Najarian is a legendary options trader, hall of famer, and TV celebrity. Many know him as a best-selling author and the host of CNBC’s Halftime Report.

Jon earned the nickname “DRJ” – Dr. J – from his time working on the hardknock Chicago trading floor of the 1980’s, where he competed against some of the world’s best traders. After becoming one of the biggest market makers on Wall Street, Jon launched his own firm in the 1990’s called Mercury Trading. That’s where he developed his Heat Seeker algorithm and framework used to identify unusual market activity.

In 2005, Jon co-founded optionMONSTER with his brother Pete, an options news and education firm. Together, they developed tradeMONSTER; a leading online brokerage firm that for years was rated “Best for Options Traders” by Barron’s. It was also the first online broker to utilize streaming, desktop-like trading in a web browser.

Jon and Pete took on the private equity firm General Atlantic Partners as a partner in 2014, ultimately selling TradeMonster to E*Trade for $750 million in 2016. In recent years, Dr. J became a founding member of Investitute.com, a financial education company.
